Primo Brands employees from various departments including Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Refill Exchange, and Water Solutions boxed Thanksgiving meal kits for families in need in California. The meal kits benefit Los Angeles Mission, the nation’s largest nonprofits for homeless, disadvantaged men and women.

Working alongside local legislators and their teams, 19 Primo Brands volunteers started their day in L.A. Mission’s food warehouse, where 250 kits were boxed for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. One kit, which includes a turkey, will feed a family of four for one week. 500 meal kits were packed during the one-day event.

“It’s a great feeling to be part of a company that gives back and a company that participates,” said John Sandoval, Branch Manager, Primo Brands.

“I grew up in the Los Angeles community so being out here and knowing that this food is going directly to families, seeing the high quality of food that the L.A. Mission is offering to give to families, it means the world to me to be able to play a small part in this event,” said Aimee Cruz, Sr. Manager, Organizational Development, Primo Brands.

“It means a lot to give to families who don’t have what they need and to give it to those who need it more than I do and being able to help and assist is just amazing,” said Devin Thomas, District Operational Manager, Primo Brands.

“This is a time of need for others and just to be able to help out and be part of something so amazing is the biggest motivator for me,” said Jackie Zapata, Talent Acquisition Manager, Primo Brands.

After volunteers completed boxing the meals, they traveled to L.A. Mission’s main campus to serve lunch and hand out Sparkletts® bottled water. After the event, volunteers gathered to have lunch at the Sparkletts® facility.

“It means a lot coming back again this year and to give to those who are in need is a great opportunity,” said Benjamin Shaw, District Operational Manager, Primo Brands.

“It feels great to come out and support the community and give back especially with Thanksgiving around the corner,” said Daniel Gutierrez, Talent Advisor, Primo Brands.

Primo Brands donated 30 cases of water and refillable jugs for L.A. Mission’s portable hydration stations.
